Trek 2300 - Carbon bonded with Ultegra

Nice original condition (apart from bars and stem) Trek 2300.

This is the early generation of carbon bikes; carbon main tubes bonded into aluminium lugs, with alloy rear triangle and forks. Frame is in very good condition but there are parts of the lacquer missing as is often the case on these old carbon bikes.

Groupset is full Shimano 600 Ultegra 8 speed complete with STI's and Dual Pivot Brakes.

Size is about 59cm x 57.5cm (ct x cc)

If anyones is wondering what this bike is like I own one and it is a really nice bike. I think the frame is an excellent base for building something a bit special. I had it once down to 7.57kg. GLWS it's a fantastic steed.

I simply love these old bonded crabon fibre frames. Someone should grab this and build it up with Ultegra6800!
