It was a full strip and rebuild so I've actually swapped the BB, to my surprise I found a mint condition Nuovo Record BB on the bike. Far too good for a work bike so I've put in a Miche Primato BB to match the cranks. I placed the chainring on the table and it doesn't quite sit flat, so it's definitely the chainring that's most of the problem. I say most as the rear hub is bothering me, isn't very smooth and it's a sealed jobbie, so that's something to address when funds allow.
Velosolo is a decent seller, bought a few bits from them. I think it's actually cheaper if you buy direct rather than from ebay. Will certainly keep that on the backburner. YellowsweepTwo on ebay has a nice array of MDT and others, but the only 52 he's got you can't select and buy so I reckon that's been sold. I've got a 53 MDT in black but my chain isn't long enough to accept it and it looks a bit naff if i'm honest. Needs to be silver, preferably with holes!
I'm actually pretty surprised how difficult this is turning out to be to get a similar replacement!
