I purchased a similar but smaller Towsen frame a month back, to my knowledge these early Canti brake frames were made in Germany and I have to say mine rides actually better than the Merlin and Litesped Ti frames I have had, with better geometry.
Built mine up with choice kit into a sub 20 pound complete bike!
