Touring and pedal advice please?

This is more about the space than the distance man. I like the idea of taking my time, having a nose about, pleasing myself. Have found campsites about 35/40 miles apart by the main routes rather than the meandering back roads and tow paths. Nice. Hopefully. Now I just need the bike and the weather. Frame should be here Thursday.
