So much for Wiggins holding back! Possibly he may be playing Evans at his own game and grabbing seconds where ever he can. Ride of the day had to be Chavanel though, I saw he'd won the French TT but never gave it much credence. Good to see Cancellara back at his best too, I was looking for a good showdown with Tony Martin, bit unfortunate with the flat.
Gilbert's form seems to have returned a bit, I'll go for him today even though my dreamteam has Cavendish and Sagan as todays main players. I think today might show a bit of Cavendish's Olympic potential, it shouldn't be a stage for him but he seems to be trying to widen his remit as it were. He's lost 4kg in a bid to become a bit of a better all rounder. It'll be interesting for sure.
