Keep commentary on pricing to a minimum the value of retro parts is very subjective.

sorry, i have to say that is hog-wash. discussion was related to the authenticity of the product being retro and also being titanium which then ties into the value of said item. this was constructive discussion that is informative for both seller and potential buyers.

The word to note is 'think'. The seller gave a clear and honest description with good photos it's up to potential buyers to access the item. I let the first negative comment slide then the band wagon came along.

Whoa what happened here? I thought the cage was Ti due to the finish of it and how light it is but wasn't 100% sure hence the word 'think' in my description.
I'm not a materials expert and happy for comments to confirm its composition one way or another.
How can I ascertain for sure what it's made from? Cheers

sorry, you must have missed all the posts that were deleted, including mine. believe discussions got a little heated between two members and RobMac made the decision to delete those posts. one member pointed out that that brand cage is still for sale for only £2-4 new and it being alum, as well as it being broken making it not worth much, if at all. then another member posted saying to stick a magnet to it, but the first member made a "hasty" comment that it wouldn't prove it's ti since magnet doesn't stick to alum either. that's when i added my comment that from a quick google search, i would concur that it's not ti but alum with ti look finish.

i respect and understand the rule RobMac is enforcing, but i don't agree it should be applied as a blind blanket against all cases, especially when comments are offered that shed information on questionable attributes of the item for sale.
