Topline SLS Cranks - fragile?

I picked up some Topline SLS cranks a while back, the ones with the cutaway spider:

I'd heard they might be a bit fragile, so was wondering what the word on the street was? There seems to be some minor cracking to the anodising on the spider which presumable indicates some flex has taken place, but nothing looks out of shape at all.

I'm just over 13 stone and don't intend on getting much heavier...!

usually the non drive side that cracks at the sq taper

bit like cooks and some middleburns
 
Check around the taper on the left crank for hairline cracks.

If you can find them, the short lived 94bcd versions are much beefier
