I've added inflation adjusted prices in bold. The bobcat was nearly a 600quid bike in 2nd place! Saracen was quite expensive too.

Ridgebacks were stocked by Freewheel, quite a high end shop BITD. I remember spending a lot of time dribbling in their Norwich store

They stocked Kirk as well, I was in awe when I first saw one 8)

I used to race my LX equipped one with mag 21's... I kinda liked it
:D and thinking bout it your right...

Let's start it off......Possibly the worst example on the list, but as it is pieces at the moment it's the only photo I got.

Can we get the full list completed in RetroBIKERS own bikes ?

Saracen Eiger.......

Not really thought about it but my CB retailed at £975 in 1993 making it best part of £1600 in today money    . Glad I didn't sell it.

Carl.

Interesting.

The statistics for Holland would have looked very different. Most of the mentioned offering weren't even available overhere.

I think list for Holland would be something like:

- Giant Terrago

- Giant Stonebreaker

- Giant Escaper

- Batavus Buster

- Trek 800s

- Specialized HardRock

- Specialized RockHopper

Maybe a Koga, Cadex or Cannondale, but I would guess they are too expensive for being sold in large numbers.
