Hova...sorry to hear about the little'un. I havn't tried Dominus wines...American stuff over here just gets way expensive to the point that you may a s well buy the real stuff...Bordeaux
The Tignanello was good, well very good of course, but I prefer wines that reflect their region and Tig. tastes llike fine Bordeaux.
The stars were the Flaccionello (very big and expressive, maybe too much oak) and the Cepparello, but I always love Cepp, such an quietly powerful wine.
Cote Roties? Not my bag really...too angular, too mean, too expensive. I have decided the Rhone is not my favourite place.
Next tasting we plan to concentrate on Alsace with some Deiss, Zind Humbrecht and Ostertag
