whilst that outside layer is aluminuim coated fibreglass i would bet 100% the inner layers are all UD carbon (have a look at the end of the tube)
that product was actually invented for the outside of homebuilt aircraft to allow lightning strikes to flow around the outside of the fuselage
and Bianchi even called it "white carbon" (incorrectly)
