Finally getting round to spraying the 1988 Fisher HKEK.
Now, this is gonna be a singlespeed beauty. Question is, do I grind off the cable guides and mudguard bosses etc or leave it ?

leave them,maybe one day youll want to sell it on but will get less as youve hacked it

I am currently building up a singlespeed 'dale' and did toy with the idea of removing 'unwanted' guides etc, but if I dont like it as a single I could always revert back to a geared bike, plus as pointed out if you were to want to sell the bike for any reason, it would limit your market... If you intend to keep it forever and a day then go for it as it would look nice and clean.. just my 2cts worth

the only time you should grind is if you're also having sliding drops fitted

Probably will be best left I suppose. Gonna be a keeper though as it's a classic IMO. Going for glossy black I reckon...
