This is fantastic. What a build. Great bike.The exogrid was unobtainium back then. I had a 2007 RacerX in off-white with matching Fox fork. Was a super fun bike and only replaced it when I tested a 29er Rocky Mountain Element in 2012.

Yeah, it got bike of the year award on the Dutch MTB forum. Unfortunately I had to sell the bike to get the next one. I know it's hapily riding somewhere in Germany right nowThis is fantastic. What a build. Great bike.
Moved a little on this one.
Still awaiting a M985 gruppo and am tempted to go 2x10. Chainset is in. Lovely condition.
Until then it looks like this. Ditched the trendy red tyres and relieved the bike of some colour. I think it looks better like this.
Stubby Funnduro stem and Salsa oversize bars looking purposeful.

Update as of today..
Decided to go 2x10 Shimano M985 XTR. The gruppo is in amazing condition.
Some red in the way of KCNC shifter mounts and red bolts for the brake lever assemblies.
10 speed cassette to go on (to be sourced). This may affect the wheelset as I’m not sure the current set freewheel would take it.
Brake discs to buy.
Steerer tube to be shortened.
Brake hoses to be replaced and shortened and then cable up.
More to come as ever.
