Titanium mech hanger bolt

Totaltuition

Geoff Capes
Hi,
Silly question I'm sure but I'd rather ask before I do it. Any reason not to put a replacement titanium rear mech bolt into Klein frame. Just checking as it's come from a steel frame and I've heard about titanium bolts seizing in place and I don't want any problems.
Thanks
Andrew

I'd be more worried about a knock against the derailleur damaging the hanger with a Ti bolt than I would about seizure. Conventional wisdom: Al frame with non replaceable derailleur hanger - use Al breakaway bolt.

this was my first thought.

If anyone wants to ride mine they must be a Virgin and first bathe in Yaks milk and have their soul purified by the gods.
But that's just me.
