That's why I haven't bothered to say the steerer length nor the a-c length.

Or have I missed the point? Maybe this is just for looking at, not for actually building a bike with it?

if only he'd been in the trade 19 years he may have known who made it or the fact that Merlin have never made a 1 1/4" bike and so would not be likely to make a fork in that size....
