If it is going in a steel frame I wouldn't worry about it in a year or so you won't be able to remove it anyway...

I have Flites on every one of my bikes, including my Carbon 29er because there is simply no better saddle, but there is absolutely no way I would be spending upwards of £160 for a Flite seatpost!!!

There are much nicer posts out there for similar or less money!

I'd have to agree with the above. Unless it's something you now simply have to do, as you can't unsee it, I'd save my money and spend it o something else. It does look nice though so I can see the appeal, just the £.

That said I really regret selling my 27.0 synchros ti post a couple of years ago.

Now they cost so so much more than I sold it for. Well, they did, stuff isn't selling as well right now, best keep a look out.....
