Titanium bikes

Mtb's, Cars and watches are my main vices sometimes have a motorbike for the summer dont thinkk illl bother this year though ill have a fat ti!

Motorbikes were a passion of mine, still got an old Suzuki GSXR 1100 model in the garage. The last of the oil cooled version.

oil cooled love the slabsides! dont like any of the newer sports bikes im a ducati man at heart (its my buisness as well) was tempted by a sport classic still undecided!

I rode a mate's 'minty' Superlight for a day, what a lovely machine that was... apart from the dated front end putting me off a bit I'd have had that off him. Really nice handling too and for 80 bhp it had a surprising amount of grunt. Put it this way he couldn't keep up around the twisties on a sportsbike and he's no slouch.

The 1098 looks superb to me.

my dad just sold his superlight lovely machine! weird about the front end ive always found them nice and planted but then his was fettled easily as good as my old rsvr with ohlins!

Any thing with two wheels for me too.Just got rid of a honda nc30 .Love the look of ducatis,a friend has one, beautiful to look at and sounds lovely when its not in the dealers getting fixed.
The same applies to bike parts.Pro shift rear mech looks great but in use is rubish before it breaks where as shimano m900 series stuff is superb to use and so reliable.
I suppose what I am trying to say is you cant beat those japs for reliability and functionality .

Yeah, the Dukes look great but it seems that there has always been a question mark over their reliability versus the Japs reliability. And then there's the unfeasibly large servicing costs.
