As I understand it, one of the very first elevated stay designs came out of Titan as long ago as 1987... as they were BMX manufacturers of some repute, one can understand the looped chain stays/under stay U brake continuum. So this design predates the e-stay explosion, the MBA 'Ultimate' project and the Yeti looped stays by a considerable margin.
This 20" frame and fork is probably a later one - maybe 1989. It's fairly large (and naturally heavy!) and is in very good structural order - no dints or dings. It comes with the Joytech wheels (shown in the pictures), headset, bottom bracket - but NOT the stem or cranks.
This is a substantial winter project for a better man than I - a complete strip and repaint is in order to do this important design justice.
