hi
picked this up today. was very surprised to see it
on my local craigslist. thanks for the tip off roc.
i am a big fan of e-stay bikes. have wanted one of these ever since
i spied one on here.

will be a number of changes to this one.
that handle bar first off will be gone :facepalm:
also the nutted wheels. but will most likely use
majority of the drivetrain even though it's a mix.
do it on the cheap. biggest concern for me is stuck seatpost.
really stuck. wish me luck.

paint and decals are in pretty decent condition.
should look good cleaned up. it's sporting a
fisher stem.

If I were you, though, I'd replace that saddle, otherwise you might get screwed.

That's sweet. I remember lusting after those (but maybe not the weight!) in MBUK back in the day. Maybe I should keep half an eye on CL again, but it always seems a bit pointless when Roy buys all the bikes

here's an update.
yes it has the press in bottom bracket bearings.

i had a try at the seatpost.
post snapped off when in the vice and twisting the frame. :x
looks like next step will be the caustic soda.
will be another first for me. should be interesting.
post is about 8" into the frame too. :facepalm:
