Awoke this morning to find some unhelpful person(s) had smashed a bottle (possibly milk) onto my car coating it liberally in a glassy milky content & gouging and denting the paint/bodywork.

Now due to the wind the mixture of glass and liquid has set on the car!

How the funk do I remove it – its like glue (could even be glue!) as each splatter seems to have glass in – might I be best pressure washing it?

Really don’t need this ( ) – live in a really nice area too!

Tis a sad day

:( :( :( :(

boil kettle an pour it over it so break it up wouldnt use pressure washer if has glass in it just in case it gets you as it flies off or a passer by, but boiling hot water should break it up and let you brush up glass safely

:( I loathe people like that, wandering the streets looking for their other brain cell. Probably couldn't work out how to open a pint of milk.

A few years back some adorable kids decided to egg all the cars on my old housing estate on trick or treat night :x So, in the morning it was nice and set on my lovely paintwork.

In order to get it all off and end up with a nice shine back, hot soapy water followed by a half hour buffing with T-Cut (a polish found in most local car shops/garages). Its good stuff, and will probably get out most of your scratches with a bit of effort. In the last high winds something blew into my drivers door and put a big bloody scratch down the full length  Half an hour polishing with this stuff and its all gone :D

   There was once a time when you could leave your front door unlocked. And it was safe to leave your car out side with out this happening.
But hot water & T-cut should get it back as before :D (the car that is. Not the old times)

You still can in my village, as I found out yesterday morning

Still, everyone knows everyone in my village, and even the wannabe louts are just big softies. I have found that if you give them the time of day, they respect you just that little bit more and dont give you any hassle.
