There must be so much stuff just sat on eBay with ridiculous prices, because eBay actively pushes people into being lazy sellers, basically. eBay's algorithms apparently can't tell the difference between a mint condition bike and something like this, for starters.
As they are selling it for someone else, the laziness is more understandable, but still...a bit of common sense should tell you this isn’t worth £500...and maybe take more than one photo if you think it is worth that much.
This came with one of those horrible kona oe loose ball aheadsets and mechanical discs and a few other poor quality oe bits, but otherwise nice and usable.
I made up a hope headset from tatty parts in the headset spares drawer, and some shimano br-mt200s (these are such value - especially compared to what you could buy in 2004) hydros off a colleague's surly.
There was an ugly but appropriate race face isis chainset in the box (the square taper shimano item on the bike is more valuable to the shop - I mean who buys replacement isis when their isis chainset has just fallen off...
