And Kai - just do it. You'll find the parts but maybe have to sell something

Yeah, you're absulutely right! Anyone interested in 1993 18" Adroit in Rain Forest and 1992 19" S-Works Carbon ?

not much help for the project but a mighty cool pic. took me a while to find it back on the old CD...

I don't have pics of those either, but have some from the Gator era:

There is a great Tinker interview and full page picture in a MBA from Summer 1992 possibly in the same issue there was a Klein Attitude linear fade test? Does anyone have back issues?

Sorry to drag this up, but if we all agree that Tinker was 'quite cool' then how come Etto helmets didn't make it on to the RetroBike cool wall?

Someone should tell Tinker he is a RetroBike cult hero!

Picked up lots of old MTB magazines from my parents' house when visiting them during the Xmas holidays. I found some pics of Tinker too.
There was also one commercial photo of Tinker and Sara Ellis advertising some custom wheelsets (Wheelsmith if I remember right). They both had Leader Gara Pro helmets in Team Storm colours. No photos of Sara Ellis anywhere else though. It seems that she followed Tinker to Cannondale in 1994 ?

Racing an Team USA colored Attitude in 1991, here in trouble though...

It might be that he's using here red Look S2R Moab pedals ?

Klein

Would b worth putting together, if only to sell! A thunder Adroit went on Spanish Ebay for over £4000 just recently, with something like 40 bids and a £2000 start up price!

Early pic - check out the road pedals!

They are not actually road pedals but very early LOOK MTB pedals. They used the same binding as the road pedals but if you look at the underside there is a ridged plastic section for grip. From what I remember there weren't many MTB shoes that would take the look cleat.

I did some of my first MTB races using LOOK pedals and road shoes, not much fun when dismounted :?
