Work is in progress on the Tim Gould biography. I was asked some questions last week by the author on my memories of racing against Tim. Other riders from that era are also doing the same. Not sure when the book will be out, but I am sure it will be a good read when it is available.
I will put an update on the forum when I know when the book is going to be published.

:D Great. I will be first in the queue to buy. Be great to have it signed by the great man himself to 8)

That's great news - look forward to it.

It also strikes me that there would be room for a wider piece on the UK scene back then that featured all of you, captured the races and results etc. As time goes by it will only get harder to piece together all the ins and outs.

If he mentions somebody using the last of the petrol in the jet wash generator at the '93 Grundigs (Newnam Park, Plymouth) when he was next in line that was me!!!

what's he up to these days? last time i remember seeing him was at one of the last mayhem's at sutton park, think he had a DDG branded Xc bike, don't know if he was racing though as he wasn't in race kit at the time.

Postman in Derbyshire I believe

Spoke to the books author a few weeks ago. Should be out sometime next year, hopefully in time for the 3 Peaks. Should be a good read given how interesting Gould's story would appear to be through following him in the magazines of the era.
