Considering the cranks, he can probably get close to $2500 whole. Just my opinion. He should probably sell the cranks and a few other bits, separate, then replace them with other cheaper parts, and still sell the bike whole if that's what he want to do, for a more reasonable price.

well, the seller finally took my offer on the Ibis (I have talked to him on and off for MONTHS on this bike).
I will be parting the bike out. I will keep a few things, but not sure exactly what.
Maybe I should start a thread on it? Are there forum rules about asking for offers or do I have to state a price. Honestly I am not trying to get the highest price for everything but rather a fair price for me and the buyer.
