Embarrassed time.

I bought 2 Thule ProRide bike carriers, and never fitted them, went on holiday after unpackaging them and putting the keys somewhere safe.
Come some months later and i go to fit them.
Keys ?
First thing you need to fit them is undo the locks...

Keys ?

I now have a tidy shed, loft, draws, etc and I still cannot find them.. That's 4 keys probably bunched together

Has anyone got an spares they can lend me to get the locks out. I'll then buy their one key set as two different keys for the racks is going to be annoying.

Need to borrow N123 & N132

They'll be in the last place you look...

On a more helpful note, damn my keys are different to yours

I keep mine in the car, have you checked yours?

I last remember seeing them as I took them out of the packaging.
They where unimportant at the time.

I don't remember where the safe and sensible place I put them was after that. I obviously isn't anywhere I've looked.
Like I said I've not touched them since I unpacked.

The obvious answer is my Son has seen some shiny keys and thought they looked nice. I've asked him and he ran to some bunches of keys in various hiding places, treasure troves, boxes, not there.

They will of course magically appear 1 day after I change the locks, which would be ok as I can use them in the roof rack.

Look behind the sofa.

I have a nice set of 4 Automaxi keys, will they do?

Actually being serious, how different are they? all the keys I've seen look very similar, but never havign layed them side by side I don't know.

You will need a special lock barrel removing key, they come with the lock replacement kits.

After moving my shed today, I thought I'd have a look around the web, seems I can buy replacement keys for not too much (far less than the £12 odd I'd seen first off last night)

So might just go ahead and buy some more.

I contacted Thule after losing my keys, it was so simple getting replacments and lucky to me they are only based round the corner from me so popped in and picked them up. Very cheap and simple to get the replacements.

All you need is the barrel number.. job done!
