Thrift Store 1992 GT Tequesta

Just wanted to share this awesome 1992 GT Tequesta I picked up for an absolute bargain at a local thrift shop yesterday. This is my first GT so excited to see how it rides. Looks like most of the parts are original minus the fork. Perhaps the fork was installed at the dealer? or later? If anyone has any knowledge on that let me know. I'm guessing it was originally sold out of Sport and Cycle in Eureka California based on the frame sticker but not 100% sure. Very cool as my parents were actually living within about 20 miles of that shop in 92. Amazing how these bikes find their way around! Anyways, hope you all enjoy.

Very cool find, with matching splatter frame and stem. Top mounted u-brake dates that one to around '89.

Waffle grips like new, Bio Pace decal in perfect condition, U brakes still polished….that’s museum quality. Nice score.

Yes, I believe they are. The kit and the paint scheme seem consistent with 1992

Thanks! Yeah the condition absolutely blew me away! It was covered in a thick layer of dust like it had been in a garage or basement for years. Cleaned up perfectly.
