Threaded steerer conversion

That ITM unit is actually and ahead stem to threaded headset adapter whereas the BBB unit is intended to convert a threaded steerer for use with a threadless headset.

:oops: sorry I thought was the same - I was about to order one too. I just assumed I could fill in the threads with JB where they came through the headset.
 
They are both very similar. The main difference with the BBB unit is the length allows you to knock of the the threaded portion of the steerer so it doesn't interfere with the wedge component of most threadless headsets.
 
Guys - as always, thanks for the wise words!

The forks in question are a rigid option for my new build and as such are likely to be used only for some light pub hacking/commuting so I think I'll go with the BBB option from CrC
