Thought I was dreaming when I was driving to work this AM

Something to do with another 2,000cc and one being a 'sports car' perhaps? :?

And btw over here a Vette is regarded as not exactly having special handling...I realise it's horses for courses, but our roads are too narrow and twisty for one of those things. Compared to a Lotus Elise, it's a big soggy flip-flop.

A corvette? 'Handling'??

ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa!

I drove a C6 a few weeks back and the handling was fine. You could hold it in a very big slide at 80mph no probs.

I hate the P6. I restored one about 12 years back for a local lunatic. I remember pulling it out of the damp garage in which it had sat for ten years. It broke in half just behind the back seats as we dragged it out with the truck. The old fool spent £40,000 restoring that car then put it back in the same damp garage.

One of my Sd1's

Its camshaft was smooth at one end and perfect at the other, guess which end the mechanic pulled out to say 'its fine'.

That shouldn't be out in the rain.

That's the first thing I thought (insert Lucas joke here  ). I won't take my Golf out if the clouds are a bit too grey for my liking.

I had a 1983 Mercedes 500 SEC, it kept stalling at random. The problem? BLOODY LUCAS IGNITION AMPLIFIER.

The only British made part in the engine....

My friends Dad would ring up work to say he wouldnt be in if it was raining - he just knew his Jag wouldnt start.
