Thomson Elite seatpost 27.0 perfect for GT

Yes, Technically modern but these look ace on a retro ride and are ideal for a zaskar & other GTs

Size is a 27.0 which fits my zaskar perfectly (26.8 is too small IMO)

Length is 330mm uncut and it's in good condition with some insertion marks.

Just bought a new longer one for £75 so for this one I'm asking £30 including postage

People are under the misconception that a zaskar is 26.8 but they aren't it's a 27.0, a 26.8 wobbles about in the tube and has to be over tightened. Check Sheldon brown

My 1996 LTS (carbon) is 27.0mm
My 1993 Psyclone was 26.8mm

My 1991 Zaskar is 26.8 and has its original GT seatpost, which fits perfectly without a hint of a wobble.

I'm Going by the measurements of my 93/94 zaskars.... I could fit the tip of a small screwdriver in the gap when a 26.8mm post is fitted

Older Zaskars withiut the machined seat tube clamp were all 27.0 or 26.8.

If I were you I'd check that post in your Psyclone....guessing the slit is quite closed/near touching on it as those were 27.0 also.
