I always knew you could use wine gums instead of elastomers.

Apparently they'd been stored too close to a radiator in the guys garage - they were already melting when they arrived and this what they look like a week later :!:

That's why some people find just an empty stanchion with a skewer in it when they strip down their forks...

What's his heating doing on in July? Unless he lives next door to a certain Mr. Claus, or lives on a 'special farm' he can add being a wuss to this crime.

lol i had a pair of shocktechs on my old cannondale years ago and recently i had it back and the forks had collapsed i took them apart and the elastomers had gone like a really sticky/stringing chewing gum!
