This is my much loved classic Raleigh Summit 1992

Retro Newbie
I remember being 13 years old and begging my father to buy me this bike.

Many years later I still have it and it's still in fantastic condition........
The only issue I have is that I can#'t ride it anymore because the rubber seals in the front rock shox have deteriorated simply because they wernt used and has perrished over the years.

I've tried to fix them and even try to find a retrofitting service to fix them but nowhere does the little rubber fittings anymore.....the forks themselves are actually in v good condition it just wont hold air presure.

It's so original it still has the original tyres and innertubes on it..... no lies..... the only things i added was a set of onza bar ends and a drinks holder....

take a look at it:

As a side note IF someone does have or know where to get some replacement RS-1 original rock shox rubber seals then i'd be greatful if you would let me know as I'd love to get this fixed and be able to ride her again.

Can't help with the seals, I am afraid, but that's a lovely bicycle. You've kept in in immaculate condition. I wonder if the sliders would fit a Quadra or Mag 10 for example, so you'd have an operational fork but with the original look. ( I know little about Rock Shox internals I am afraid but someone may be able to help) Is it a 19inch? And do I detect Mint Sauce stickers? :-)
