This is fab and thought provoking- water.....

No idea, I don't watch telly, but wouldn't surprise me. But an effective talk on TED but I wonder what his motivations are now, has he remained true to his original motivation, or has he done a Dyson ?

Define?

If by "doing a Dyson" you mean going from a crackpot inventor in your garden shed, to one of the country's leading industrialists and employing hundreds (sic).....

No starting a business in this country saying his aim is to employ British people to make a British product then all of a sudden when his product takes off relocate manufacture to the far East and stuff the British workers who found themselves out of a job again. Now I understand it was an expansion move, something about the council not allowing his to expand is factory, but he could have moved to larger premises in the UK not moved across the other side of the world where the labour just happens to be cheaper.

So what I am asking here in is he doing a Dyson, has his ideals changed with his success, is it now about profit rather than the original idea of helping people in times of crisis.
