Bitter past experience tells me never to mix car buying with drinking! It is one thing waking up with an eBay invoice for three times the worth of a 1990s steel frame, "dented and rusty but would make good wall art"; but another entirely ending up on a four hundred mile round trip to pick up a two seater convertible you can't even practically use once you weld it and replace the engine you never noticed was not included in the mist of eighteen year old malt.
