third party to help with overseas transaction?

Hi.

I have an offer to by a frame from mfargy483 for $XXXX USD but haven't traded with him before.

Has anyone else traded with him? or can link me to his feedback (I can't find any).

If no..... would a Mod or a known upstanding citizen of retrobike take a paypal payment
until the goods arrive with them or me or another Mod (or some such)
and then forward the payment.

Im just not too cool with the potential for a transaction like this to go PeteTong.
