Thinking about buying this Bike trailer for the kids

Re:

Thanks for all the advice, hints and tips, especially about getting one locally... Well i've managed to get a local one, can't believe one came up so quickly!! :D

Picking it up tomorrow, only cost £40 too :D

Can anyone recognise the brand at all?

That's a steel one.
There seems to be only a few different versions but sold under loads of different names. That's quite a common one.

Is that unlike a child seat??? :?

Look at the BMA and RCGP recommendations. The biggest risk is inactivity. Getting kids used to habitual exercise and time outdoors is critical to set up healthy lifestyles.
My kids cycled to school from age 4, as a result by 10 they had huge amounts of road sense and were fitter then their contemporaries who were driven to school.
Similarly the medics have shown that cycle commuting on average is likely to lengthen your life.

Yes, what you want is a dirty great 4x4 to drive junior around in, that way you can protect him from all the other muppets driving their little darlings around in their 4x4s. Of course it's all futile, because by the time they all grow up the climate will be screwed and there will be no oil left for fertilizer and fuel for the machines and transport necessary for the modern farming techniques necessary to feed the 9 billion or more people they will be sharing the planet with. :P
