Retro Newbie
a stupid question, but I have seen that disproven. Let me see if I can do it again!

Of course I am the new guy here. I am from Phoenix Arizona and my name is Cory. I posted some stuff for sale, but after really checking out the community, decided I wanted to become a bigger part of it. My rides are a 1998 GT Richochet: set up SS with a big gear on it. Marz Flylight 100 on the front and a two seater tot trailer in the back. Mavic Crossroc's keep it rolling. Other ride is a 2000 (I beleive) Spec Enduro Expert in blk/yellow with only real update a Marz XC600 fork. Also have a Fisher Rig SS and I haul it all in a '87 Nissan Hardbody 4x4.

First dumb question: When you all are selling- do you prefer GbP or Euros?

Second question- maybe even dumber: The funky "L" after a price- is that pounds, quid, euros or monopoly money?

You think I would know since I was hatched in the UK (RAF Lakenheath circa 1971) but it has been a long time!

Thanks for letting me in to relive all my MTB memories!-Cory

It doesn't really matter as long as you're clear which currency your price is quoted in, but most forum members are UK based.

L? Do you mean £ (gbp) or is it that the character is being messed up by your browser?

The funky little L really IS a funky letter L. From the Latin for Livre meaning pound, which is also why predicimal coinage was LSD. Livre, sesterti and denarii or pounds shillings and pence.

Welcome to the GBP the original Euro currency!
