I'm actually going to try that for the next race chris, i don't seem to be doing myself justice atm. Since finishing work motivation to ride has dissapeared . But i'm fooked if i'm gonna let myself down again. Road bike was taken out of the shed today for the first time in 2 months and i'm definatly going to do the next 4 hour one. This time properly though. Dan keep rubbing it in mate, i need all the help i can get

Also very important is resting before a race, it's the training you did 4 weeks ago that will count not the last minute rides you squeeze in the week before.
