Just got back from an excellent ride on the Purbecks. 20 miles in total, including my cycle to and from the ferry.
I even bumped into a fellow retrobiker in Raymond Mole, who I'd never met before! He recognised my Overbury's from the forum and we had a good chat about it, and other Purbecks rides etc.
Anyhow, here are a few pics I took on what was an absolutely perfect evening 8)

Brilliant to meet up with Raymond Mole and discover that there are regular rides along this route every Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 8)

In Dorset? I'd recommend it to anyone.

Amazing pictures. Simply stunning views.

England at its best?

You wont get any argument from me on that point! When the weather is as it has been, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in England :D

I sampled it briefly at the begining of the year, and yeah it is nice, but give me the rugged northern views any day of the week! I like the country side to be able to look as though it would actively seek to smack you down if you didnt treat it right, yet look stunningly inspiring at the same time, its not a landscape you see much of in the south.

Nice photo's though :)

Was a great nights ride.
And nice to meet a fellow Retro Biker.

Thought I'd Pop up another picture, Taken not far away from the ones above on the previous night.

I love it Down here in Dorset

Out again tonight, same route. Ferry, ride, pub, ride, ferry, pub and home.
