The Welsh Cycle show

Nice day for something indoors

If you see any threaded forks with a mahusive steerer.............

Re:

Well, having just returned from the show I have to say I was completely ...... underwhelmed.

There were a handful of good exhibitors there, but the rest were either charities, tourism companies or local cycle shops.

Impact Sport had some mighty nice Fondriest bikes, including an SP2 (?) steel frameset that was fully build and for sale at £1600.

Paulus Quiros... mmmmmmmmmmmm

KTM had a great display, including the very bike I wanted to see.

Condor..... mmmmmmmmmmm, but very little I could afford.

The velodrome is impressive, but watching the guys riding round the track made me a bit dizzy; be fun to have a go though.

I think the show has great potential, but it was very quiet and it needs a bigger trade content.

Strangest machine award goes to the varibike  look it up at http://www.varibike.com

What did you expect? There can't be that many bicycle manufacturers in Wales can there?

Paulus Quiros are based just outside Llanelli (try not to spit on the screen when you say that).

So, the London and Birmingham bike shows are only for bikes made in London and Birmingham respectively? Who knew.
