Now going to swap out the 32Hole campag pista hub for a very rare 16Hole campag pista hub body so dismantle & rebuilding of wheel.
Axle swapped over

Nob, you obviously know your way around a bike - maybe it's the photo - is there or is there not quite a shadow (gap?) between the seatpost and tube? Is it maybe not as snug as hoped for or am I missing something with it being an unusual way of clamping it tight?

Tubes being 40yrs old top part is a little deformed but on insertion of the post it’s very snug & tube patina even if it’s been beautiful painted.
