The unexpected purchase, the Myata Gentlux

One of my favorite German ebay sellers had a stunning deal at a killer price, so I jumped on it. I never had a japanese bike frame before and the 3 Rensho, Cherubim, Zunow, Kalawinka were way out of my price reach. I stumbled on this very nice pristine Myata Gents Lux frame that was very attractively priced and in almost new condition. It does have its original seatpost , saddle and an original Shimano 600 headset. This one features external cable routing and not internal cable routing unlike what we see on Myata Pro frames and of course FM1 Triple butted tubbing. I have already a pair of Cosmic pro wheels for it. it will be fitted with Dura Ace 7800/7700. ITM Goccia Stem, ITM Bar, Dura Ace seat post and Turbomatic 2 saddle

Will very probably change the fork by a much lighter Reynolds Ouzo carbon fork since this one is quite heavy and will install a cane creek headset and a headset stem on it for reducing weight

The whole frame is lovely, I'd personally put up with the weight penalty and not have plastic forks snap off and stick in my arse

Well, no I have I will disagree with you, I have a Time Millenium carbon fork on my Peugeot Prestige made of Reynolds 708 Classic since 16 years it never snapped. It would be a different story with made in China carbon fork. I don't like dead weight on front when riding a road bike.
