A few weeks back Mr. K donated free of charge a wonderful Off-Road Proflex.

The lucky person was mazdaman1980 who now has a frame but needs the bits to finish it. He's a hard working fella with not a lot of spare income, so I was hoping we might all chip in and help create a quality build for him.

So following Mr. K's example i've donated a few of those parts that I keep hanging around but will probably never use. If we all do likewise we'll soon get this project off the ground. If mazdaman1980 keeps us all upto date we can all sit back with a warm fuzzy feeling of helping a fellow retrobiker and seeing this bike take shape.

Please donate your unwanted parts (please no shit, this is a quality frame) here:

Thank you for your help.

Maybe because he's found this place

Yup, I've offered a choice of 2x pairs of tyres

Looking through the list there is some quality stuff being thrown at this bike

'Feel the Karma'

it gives me a very warm feeling that we are all so happy to offer stuff, and those that dont have anything to offer wish they did. love you guys...

PLEASE READ:

Ok how about this. We all submit a list of our parts that we are willing to donate. We then open up a poll for each part with more than one submital. We then vote for the part we wish to see on the bike. Only the winning part needs to be posted to Mazdaman for building. Therefore, we all have a say, can point out potential flaws/originality and can save any left over parts for another occassion.

If everyone is happy with this suggestion I'll set a deadline of 9PM Saturday for parts to be submitted. I'll then put 24hr polls up on the 'mtb chat' thread so you can vote for your favourite (mods if not possible please let me know).

Please do not post any parts at this stage unless you really, really want too. Also if your parts are possibles can you confirm there availablity and likewise confirm unavailabilty if parts are no longer available.

but... in his project thread mazdaman has stated with the surplus parts he is going to build complete bikes to sell for charity so is happy to receive as much as possible. if we all send what we can we can help him help others.

Thanks to all who have donated so kindly to the Retrobike Credit Cruncher. Many of the parts have now arrived with Mazdaman and he is preparing to build.

There are however parts still outstanding (possibly caused by my earlier post). Could those who have set parts a side for the build please contact Mazdaman to indicate if these are still available. If so i'm sure he'll supply you with his address for posting.

We can then sit back and watch this build take shape. any excess parts will be built up into a bike to be sold for charity (therefore any extra parts you wish to donate will be gratefully received).

Many thanks.
