The RB what I bought/ found/scrounged this week thread pt.II

They were in a box on my doorstep when I got home. Did a deal with Josh for some parts for his A* project. I was stoked to finally get a replacement for this well worn specimen.

Had other plans today, and wasn't going by the shop (dog wasn't amused, as she looks forward to going to the shop on Saturday afternoons and greeting customers). Went to a friend's place in Toronto and picked up this instead.

He went to his house to visit his son during the week. While he was there, he went out to the garage and put together a grab bag for me. I have cool friends.

For some strange reason his brother built the bike up with a NOS M900 drive train and put a newer Avid Flack Jacket rear brake cable on it. Unable to live with that, I stopped in at the shop on the way home and grabbed a Dura Ace Brake cable kit off the wall. Same XTR grey as M900 cables. Crisis averted.
