I was off of work sick today and got a little bored. I ended up buying a cheap saddle and a smallish 90’s steel bike to play with. Lower end campy equipped Bio Racer. Then I found some discounted bar tape and thought in for a penny, in for a pound. It’s done, there’s no going back. Needless to say, I’m going to work tomorrow
I finally got around to fitting the bar tape today. I didn’t go with the tacky Fizik Vento, instead I opted for some period new old stock Isca Max Tape. A little Marmite I guess! The Basssno Frontera saddle was fitted a while back, along with some cheap new old stock Odyssey Svelte Sport pedals. The others ran a bit rough. I’ve adjusted the gears the best I can but they could probably be fine tuned some more.
She rides really nicely and I have put some miles on her before today. Like most of my bikes the drive chain could do with a degrease and some fresh lube.
The water bottle was an eBay buy in anticipation of me actually riding far enough and being in need of some go juice
