A long time favourite finally arrived home; since I read an article about an RSL in a Spanish bike magazine I fell in love with that Made in Denmark frames: big tubes, big welds, nice paint (and anodizing) and very good details ( curved chainstays, cnc´d dropouts, flattened top tube ... construction is top notch; perfect tolerance when inserting the seatpost, precise BB threads, etc.
Not sure about the year, but thanks/credits to user MacB from mtb-news.de scans (wich can be found here: https://fotos.mtb-news.de/s/65451?page=1) it should be a 1996/1997 model (red colour/unmasked welds) as 1998 model was only offered in speed orange / speed yellow paint and the 1999 was green (mossgreen); in 2000, there´s no more Gaia.
