I can remember when I worked for s services

sorry fella, but had to laugh. Without wanting to start WW3, I'm sure you'll admit to not being the most tolerant to the needy/vulnerable. How come you left the public sector gravy train?? Customer complaints??

please take it with a laugh, not a criticism

I was in management "mate" :P

I left because the paperwork is an absolute joke......any of your business anyway

we had a good four inches of snow last night and none of our road seem to have been gritted.......took 1 hour to get to hemsby

Sent Mrs Reki out to get me a pork pie and chocolate. She came back with bloody knees where she had slipped on the ice. Patched her up and sent her out again. It's -6C outside with fresh snow over sheet ice.

Well there is some snow this morning, not a great deal, and melting rapidly in the sun, but, it is all so quiet, I forgot that about snow, it 's nice.

  Is your last name clarkson by any chance reki

More of a May type than a Clarkson. She's a good old bird Mrs Reki. I would have taken her in the car but it's a bit icy out.

Well it turns out to be a little bit of a fairy story for the midlands.

However, at the real end of the stick in the mountains of Scotland we are here waiting for minus sixteen at lower levels...

According to Radio 4, in parts of Staffordshire it is currently -18. My washing up has frozen and I can't rock my boat even if I jump up and down on the edge; considering it weighs 12 tons, that is proper ice.

minus 17 reported in Norfolk last night - pretty cold for this area

Our Doblo refused to fire - probably glow plugs

Minus 14 in yarmouth last night, minus 18 just outside yarmouth in lound  The river ant is frozen three inches thick from stalham down to almost how hill   all of barton broad is solid and a few people were ice skating on it yesterday 8)
