Off to the local tip this weekend though so I'll see if I can find an old Klein/Cunningham/Ritchey in 20" so we can get involved.

Yep, ridden round the garden and already got a puncture which bodes well

When Ed arrives his bike will have to be in bits, (or atleast it will be if he leaves it alone for 2 mins :twisted: ) ....

Ok big fella, the gauntlet has been dropped and I have picked it up....

He then gets the fun or building it again.. i would think we'll do this on Friday ...

I think a Friday afternoon build, when traditionally all the finest work is done, would be very appropriate. The wrenching skills of some may mean that they start on the first Friday in June to have any chance of completion on time.....

I on the other hand am taking the alternative approach.. I will be arriving with a whole pile of stuff and will begin attaching it to a frame as i see fit... chances are it will fall apart on the first descent....

Surely you should change the it to I?

And in the best spirit of Takeshi's castle all bikes will have to be constructed whilst wearing giant foam hands and having buckets of water thrown at you by men dressed as Giants...

A bit cheeky - you provided one of the courier link for the frame and forks etc. that I'd obtained from another member for the price of a Flite and a Rolls.

Very much appreciated service though, keeping with the spirit of The Challenge and getting them any other way would have blown my budget sky high.
