the most important one...

took it out today for the first time

it's nice having a bike you can lock to a post and not worry about.

Mind you it would only last 30 seconds in london, once had a battered ex PO bike rode it all over London left it unlocked everywhere ultimate capital pub bike, lasted 2 yrs then suddenly dissapear with the aliens in thier spaceship outside my work

Not aliens matey, most likely a skinny jean, lens-less glasses wearing hipster...

odds on it's kicking around in a houseshare in Dalston

:D
Possibly now been converted to a fixie with very narrow bars and otster cards stuck in the spokes?

Love it, but don't think it went to the trustafarians, local kids think took it for a laugh. I work at hackney college at the time and use to ride it into the staff car park but was late and left at he front entrance bike park where I'd left it before but this time it wasn't there after lunch break. I found it all battered in the street and two years later I guess that's where it returned. I guess this bike was a poor man's barclay bike : )

Like the AA too, nice bike hiding under the understated build

A few small changes, she works hard for a living taking me to work every day

the one i'm not afraid to leave outside the pub!

A beater bike is essential when being a collector. My only problem: my beater bikes become builds, and then I no longer want to lock them up outside. :?

I also have this problem! Beaters turning into keepers all the time! one day I will successfully have an actual beater

Still beating along quite happily. Riser bars are back after the flats got bent when we decided drunkenly to see if we could throw her over a tree. Also has better mudguards and a different chainset

Game old girl that she is, everything bar that handlebar survived!
