I don't know how popular it is, but it's pretty early season so I wouldn't have thought the roads would be packed with hoards of riders? Anyone have some local knowledge? I am happy to do whatever really. If we go ahead, then I would think if we encounter anyone it will be at the gorge itself.

Seaside as in the South Downs. 100K - easy, Oh 1800+ metres of climbing. Oh dear. Catering sounds promising though.
Anyway - back on topic. The 22nd it is then. Hopefully we will get the same fine weather as last year and a seat outside the cafe.

I'll have a look at the map and post a pleasant route in a couple of days.
I'll book a lunchtime are stop for seven of us then. Bring something to sit on if your pushbike is not endowed with muddies and make sure you've got brakes that can work, gears are optional.
