The Kili is back!

"We’ll be offering the Kili Flyer Cr-Mo in 2 spec levels, an ‘affordable’ SLX/Fox F120 RL version at around £2K and Premium version with XT/XTR"

Two grand for the affordable version? I am so out of touch with modern biking.

Yeah - I could put together a couple of cool retrobikes for the asking price of one cro-mo frame.

I guess 'new' is for those with money, just like it was back in 1993, I bought 'new' with compensation, not income.

Do you think that they should do Taiwanese full sussers for around the £200-300 mark instead then?

They tried that. We didn't likey.

Fillet brazed handcrafted in the UK frame, good quality wheels and finishing kit, a £400 fork and a really good groupset, all for £2k?

Pretty good value when you consider that a top of the range Killi was over a grand 20 years ago. And it had rigid forks too.

I hope it sells well. It might show other 'british' bike brands that there is a market for quality, UK made, well built frames instead of scaffold tube left overs cobbled together by shoeless children in the far east*

*Oh cock, i had managed to go a whole week without dissing On One. Its like trying to give up smoking. Back to square one.

The point I was making was that they used the word affordable to describe a £2k bike.
