Does anyone know anything about this route?

Spotted it the other day when I was out in the car with Mrs Neill...is it legally rideable?

Here's the spiel I found online >>>The Jurassic Way

The Jurassic Way is a long distance path 142 km (88 miles) in length connecting Banbury in Oxfordshire with Stamford in Lincolnshire. The Way follows a band of Jurassic Limestone that runs along the northern boundary of Northamptonshire going first along the Oxford Canal and then via Middleton Cheney and Woodford Halse to Braunston on the Grand Union Canal. Here it turns to pass between Market Harborough and Corby, following the Welland Valley to Rockingham with its castle

going to sound weird given in in New Zealand but I did geology for a-levels in the UK and am sure went went to the jurassic way and took our bikes as it was quicker to get around!!

Sometimes these things have a habit of turning from Byway to Footpath which is why i'm enquring.

I did the Ridgeway a few years back and that does at the Eastern end.... made the last section hard work

Aren't footpaths just very narrow bridleways?

Was waiting for that one

(Personally I 'play the game' with Rights of Way....it's just as annoying (and scarey) if you're on a Bridleway and some knob comes out of nowhere in a Land Rover)

I do feel sorry for you guys down there, Our only restrictions are common sense based - Don't get too near to peoples houses, avoid damage to crops, avoid farm animals during lambing season etc, leave the gates as you find them. If you hear gunfire stay away (it's usually signposted anyway), and the northeast face of Ben nevis is a bit steep too.

I don't see why England has to stick to these draconian laws. You should lobby your MP's, it's not like you have an engine and speed limits could easily be applied.
